Little Regulated Life

About Little Regulated Life

Little Regulated Life is a small UK shop making visual supports for autistic and ADHD children: printable picture routine cards and boards, calm-down kits, personalised visual stories and Now & Next, a picture schedule app. Made by a dad for his own autistic son, who has ADHD.

What we make

  • Routine picture cards and boards for mornings, bedtimes, school days, jobs at home and days out. Every picture is in the same style, so a child sees the same picture for the same thing everywhere.
  • Now-and-next, first-then and token boards that show what’s happening now, what comes next and what a child is working towards.
  • Calm-down and feelings kits: feelings cards, a calm-down corner poster and calm choices.
  • Personalised visual stories: a printable story about a child’s own first day at school or new baby, with their own names and places, ready within 2 working days.
  • An app, Now & Next (free to start): a picture schedule, timer, star chart and calm tools on any phone or tablet, with 27 ready-made routines. Try it.
  • Free tools: the free starter set, free printables and the free Card Maker.

How it works

Everything is a printable PDF: print at home on paper, or on card and laminate it to last. UK kits use UK words (toilet, jumper, maths) and US kits use US words (bathroom, sweater, math). Our guides show how to use each board.

We use an AI tool, Claude by Anthropic, to help write and lay out personalised stories, and every story is checked before it’s sent. The privacy notice explains what we keep and when we delete it.

Where to buy

From our shop or our Etsy shop.
